Youth Ministry

Our youth group is a crazy, awesome group of students from sixth to twelfth grade. We believe that God desires for us to live in community for His glory. We strive to do this through strong relationships that direct people to God. As a youth program, our core values are (a) partnership, (b) empowerment, (c) worship, (d) discipleship, and (e) mission.

On Sunday mornings, in a program called The Vine, the students gather for teaching & growth.

  • Middle School & High School Combined VINE at the Log Cabin at the 9:15am and 10:30am services. Choose which one works best for you.

Weekly youth group held during the week begins with worship and gives the students time to learn and connect. They then meet with their D-groups -- small discipleship groups made up of other youth of the same age and gender -- to grow, hang out, and walk life together. Each group has a small group leader that serves as a minister to the students in their group and a resource for their parents.

  • Youth Group (6th through 12th grade): 6:30 to 8:30 PM Wednesdays at the Main Church. Combined MS & HS games & worship. MS Talk in Fireside Room. HS Talk in Sanctuary. D-groups meet throughout the main church after their respective talks. (Combined talks during the summer & no D-groups.)

Overnight Retreats and Camps offered throughout the year allow youth the chance to study and experience Jesus while they learn about each other and themselves. Contact Treacy Walsh at for more information about upcoming Youth Retreats and Camps.  Registration Forms are also available at the Welcome Desk or at this link.

Mission programs propel youth and their fresh faith into the world. At least one, and sometimes more, mission trips are offered.

Meet our High School Director: Charlie Sponsel

Charlie Sponsel

A little about myself ... I was born in Minnesota, grew up in Portland, Ore and gave my life to Jesus Christ at a middle school spring retreat. My heart is for students to learn who God is, find their identity in Christ and not in the world, and to glorify God through the Holy Spirit's guidance in their daily lives.

I've worked in youth ministry as a staffer, intern, or volunteer for the last 14 years. I'm passionate about Jesus, youth, cycling, and my beloved Minnesota Vikings. I can't wait to meet you.

Meet our Middle School Director: David Kinjorski

David & Megan

What's Up?!

I'm David Kinjorski, I am married to the wonderful Megan Kinjorski, and it is crazy that I get to be the Middle School director at this amazing church! My dad was in the army through my whole childhood and teen years so I moved every couple of years and never got to be a part of a steady youth group experience. But God works in mysterious ways and shaped my life to be able to be here now and walk beside you all as your friend, teacher, and brother in Christ! I've had various different ministry experiences, including being a youth pastor in a small town in New Mexico, but ultimately He has given me a heart to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ, and to build up his Church [that's YOU!]. That's what I'm here to do; I'm stoked to hang with you guys and girls at youth group and have a TON of fun! See you there!

Youth Liability Waiver

Paperwork is great, right? Fortunately, this liability release waiver only needs to be signed once a year! Parents, please fill out and "sign" one waiver per student so that your children can participate in PBF Youth events, camps and retreats.

Please note: we consider the "year" that the waiver is good for to coincide with the school year; so think September-to-August. Every September we will remind everyone to get a new waiver turned in.

If you're new to PBF Youth, then just fill one out as soon as you can so we have it on file.

Click here to fill out a liability release waiver. Thank you!
