Nursery
Approximately 20 volunteers every weekend staff the Nursery. Our Nursery is a “co-op” where every parent gets involved supporting the ministry. Parents who use the Nursery regularly are asked to help in the Nursery once every 4 –8 weeks (depending on the number of volunteers participating). If both parents attend church regularly, we ask both serve in the Nursery. If you are committed to another weekend service ministry, we ask you to serve in the Nursery once a quarter.
The Nursery is here to minister to your children and keep them happy while you are away, but no one can substitute for Mom or Dad! Since we are staffed for a Nursery and not a daycare, we can only do our best to meet your child’s schedule. Some things we are unable to do are: give medications, feed your child a meal, or keep a child who is inconsolable.
IF YOU SEE THE NUMBER “505” ON THE SANCTUARY CALL BOXES, THE NURSERY IS SHORTHANDED. PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING US IF YOU CAN.
There are additional volunteer opportunities available for other ages.
