Junior Camp 2018

 

at Camp Indianola

REGISTER BY JUNE 17! After June 17, registration fees increase and acceptance into camp is based on grade and gender of available spaces in cabins. SIGN UP SOON to guarantee your child's spot.

WHO: For CURRENT 3rd-5th graders (2017-18 school year).

WHAT: a fun-filled 4-day, 3-night sleep-away camp where we'll have awesome activities like kayaking, the giant swing, large-group games, ga-ga ball, campfire times, swimming, and lots more! We'll have super cool cabin times getting to know each other and talking about Jesus. And who knows what characters will show up this summer!

Campers will be sleeping in buildings that have 2 or 4 bunk rooms. Each bunk room will have 8-10 kids and 2 adult counselors. Adult counselors have all been background checked. All cabins have indoor plumbing with toilets and showers (as if those will actually get used).

THEME: We'll be focusing our teaching times on what it means to trust in Jesus. Some of us may have heard about him. Some of us already believe in him. But what does it mean that Jesus is Lord and Savior and how can we trust him every day?

COST:  $195 (by June 17)

If you invite a friend who currently does not attend a church, their cost is $150. Tell them to use the code "friend" on the payment page.

If you have more than one child going, your maximum family cost is $350. Use the code "sibling" for child #1 and #2 on payment page. You'll end up paying $175 each. For a third child in a family, fill out the form but click on "pay later" on one of the payment pages. Then contact Steve and he'll get #3 in for free.

And if you're one of our awesome counselors at camp and have a child attending, use the code "staff" and your child goes for only $70.

Scholarship assistance and/or payment options are available if needed. We never want money to get in the way of someone coming to camp. We will work with you! Contact Steve. Information will be kept confidential.

REGISTER EARLY! After June 17, cost increases to $225. Also, acceptance into camp is based on availability in cabins based on gender and grade.

WHERE: Camp Indianola is near Kingston, set in the woods right along the beach with views of Seattle and Mt. Rainer across the water. For more info about the camp go to campindianola.org.

Check-in at camp is 1:00pm on Thursday, June 28. Check-out is 11:00am on Sun, July 1. Go to the 9:15 Sunday service then come pick up your camper immediately after.

More detailed information (packing list, directions, emergency contact, etc.) will be sent out a few weeks before camp.
